Infants

Why is daycare good for babies? The growth and development that occurs in the first few years of your baby's life are significant. From ages 0 to 2 months, your baby is setting the foundation for their sense of security and safety. Kids Rock will offer plenty of opportunities to support this growth

Toddlers

Baby and toddler groups, also known as stay and playgroups, cater for a wide range of carers, including parents, grandparents, childminders and nannies.

They provide an opportunity for carers and children to meet new people and to enjoy activities in a safe, informal and friendly setting. The social interactions that a toddler group can offer a child will also help to support the child’s transition to the Early Years Foundation Stage when they start nursery, preschool, or reception.

The safe and nurturing environment of a toddler group enables a child to gradually get used to a social environment where they can learn alongside other children and gain confidence over time.

For parents and carers, taking part in different activities can help them to understand how their child learns and what their interests are. Not just for children, toddler groups also give parents and carers the opportunity to socialise with one another, and many a friendship has formed over coffee and a chat at one of our toddler groups in Kids Rock.

Preschool

It is from within this oasis of tranquillity that we have our dedicated nursery, offering pre-school care and education for children aged 2 to 4.  Our individual approach means that your child will develop a firm foundation from which to progress to formal education at age five, with self-confidence and all-around development, enabling the best start for your child.

At Kids Rock, we offer a magical combination of:

  • specialist early years care and teaching from our amazing staff;

  • an outstanding range of activities based around our fantastic curriculum;

  • a truly special family feel, in a nurturing environment;

  • first class levels of communication, so that parents are fully involved in your child’s learning

  • wrap around care from 7.45 to 6.00pm at no extra charge.

Children enjoy a wide range of activities from our extensive curriculum, based upon both topics, and their own interests. We hold many school events where our nursery children excitedly join in with the ‘big children’, and arrange regular trips out to places such as museums, art galleries, wildlife centres and theatres.

 Our specialist activities include:

  • Music

  • Cookery

  • Dancing

  •  Yoga

Our nursery children are happy, confident and feel secure knowing that we celebrate their successes and value their achievements.  The skills that Kids Rock imparts will support children as they flourish and grow throughout their school journey.

We would love you to visit us, and invite you to come and see our ‘Secret in the Square’ for yourself.

Pre-K

Learning through play

The youngest members of our community embrace the fun and nurturing programs in our Toddler, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes. We understand that at this age your child learns through play, so we use a play-based developmental approach in these early years.

Our specially-designed classrooms will allow your child to experience safe and exciting learning both indoors and outside. As your child discovers the world, our teachers are there to nurture, encourage and guide.

We value your role as parents, and your child's primary teacher will work in partnership with you to strive for the best learning experience possible. Together, we begin to lay the foundation for your child's personal, academic and global future.

Understanding that each youngster has a unique set of needs and abilities, we help your child develop critical thinking, creativity and interpersonal skills.
